AIRS I&R Toolkit

The AIRS I&R ToolKit allows I&R agencies and staff to access field-tested knowledge and resources to enhance their ability to achieve AIRS Standards in the provision of quality I&R services.

The AIRS I&R ToolKit is the only resource that features Best Practices from AIRS accredited agencies and archived articles from the AIRS Journal. It is organized into the same sections as the AIRS Standards.

The AIRS I&R Toolkit is a free resource for AIRS members at the Standard, Enhanced and Premium Levels. If you are not yet an AIRS member, please check out our membership section. If you are an AIRS member at the Basic Level and want to explore upgrading your status, please contact moayad@airs.org.

Just like I&R itself, the ToolKit is in a constant state of improvement with new resources being added as Best Practices are recognized and made available.

Special consideration and recognition is accorded to Info Line, Inc. of Akron, Ohio for support in the development of the Toolkit and to the many AIRS accredited agencies who have generously contributed to this collection of I&R resources.

Please note that the new 6.0 version of the AIRS Standards was published in January 2009. This edition introduced a new structure of the major Sections within the Standards. However, the material within the I&R Toolkit continues to reflect the structure of the previous edition of the AIRS Standards. This decision will allow agencies that are currently in the process of securing AIRS Accreditation to more easily locate resources that might be useful in that effort. Once the new Accreditation criteria are complete in 2010, the structure of the I&R Toolkit will be changed to reflect the current version of the Standards.
